The International Journal of Evaluations (IJE) is a not-for-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to elevating international development evaluations to the status of Peer Reviewed Evaluations (PRE). IJE publishes all classifications of international development program evaluations with the purpose of improving the lives of people around the world through evidence-based programming and management to support economic growth, poverty reduction, food security, environment, climate, and risk mitigation, health, education, governance and civic participation, humanitarian assistance, youth, gender, social inclusion.

What We Do

IJE is committed to PRE and publishing international development program evaluations which are independent, rigorous, and high-quality evaluation methodology that support systematic collection and analysis of information to understand and improve the impact of international development program evaluations.

Publish Evaluation Report

Get involved by submitting an evaluation report for publication, or peer review and publication.

IJE will only publish evaluations that it concludes are:

  • High quality and meet the international standard for evaluation methodology and quality.
  • Does not include materials that are hateful, sexist, promotes violence or discrimination based on religion, ethnicity, sex, age, disability, social-economic status.
  • Evaluation reports that are approved for publishing.

About the Founders

The founders of IJE include a dedicated evaluator who has spent the past 40 years of his life to supporting international development program evaluations and evidence programming and management in over 65 countries across Africa, Arab States/Middle East, Asia and the Pacific Islands, Europe, North/Central South America and the Caribbean. He has supported evaluations for organizations such as the Canadian Internal Development Agency, DFAT, European Union, United Kingdom AID, United Nations (UNICEF, UNDP, UN WOMEN, ILO, UNESCO, UNFPA), United States Agency for International Development, World Bank, World Health Organizations, and NGO such as CARE, PATHFINDER INTERNATIONAL, International Planned Parthood Federation.  

The co-founder is an entrepreneur who shares the vision to contribute to a better tomorrow by actively engaging today. He is kindly volunteering his expertise in computer science and International Development to the success of this IJE.
